Tiles for Miles

Big and bold tiles are making a huge comeback. For a while, subway tiles and other understated tiles were the hottest thing. Now, we’re seeing tiles become focal points.

Some of our favorite tiled bathroom trends for 2025 include:

  • 24x48” tiles — The unique sizing makes a dramatic design.
  • Textured or fluted tiles — Add unique texture to set your bathroom apart.
  • Stone and concrete tiles — Soft- and warm-colored with an earthy, organic feel.
  • Matte and/or polished tiles — Combine both for a unique approach.
  • Terrazzo tiles — Subtle, neutral colors with flecks for a fun flair.
  • Glass tiles — Mix and match with other tiles to stand out even more.

There are so many unique tile choices that you can choose from for your 2025 bathroom remodel. Whatever design you’re dreaming of, it can happen—and the best part is tiles work in a variety of combinations, textures, colors, and more.

Functional, Yet Luxury Touches

In 2025 bathroom trends, both functional and luxurious touches are in. We’re seeing homeowners want luxurious features that provide improved functionality - not just decoration.

Some of our favorite functional, luxurious bathroom designs include:

  • Movable lighting — Lighting that turns and pivots lets you truly control and maximize your lighting for any need.
  • Toilets with bidets — Countries all over the world have been using bidets for years, but we’re starting to catch up.
  • Wet rooms — Wet rooms are fully tiled, and have a drain in the floor. These make clean-up much easier - just wet everything down, and let it drain.
  • LED mirrors — Pre-lit mirrors are huge in 2025; the extra lighting offers a phenomenal and functional design that looks just as beautiful as it works.
  • Showers with benches  — A shower bench is both practical and aesthetically-pleasing.

Neutral Colors and Natural Elements

A general bathroom trend for 2025 is achieving peaceful, nature-esque vibes with neutral colors and natural elements. This is done using warm, earthy tones like green and brown while also using tiles and structural pieces made of stone, wood, and other natural elements.

Striking Contrast and Colors

On the flip side, while many people opt for neutral colors in bathrooms, a growing trend in 2025 is going bold with striking contrast and bold colors. Instead of the pink and blue porcelain of the 70s and 80s, we’re seeing homeowners bring colors into the bathroom with painted cabinets, bold wall colors, and thoughtful decor.

Advanced Technology

Upgrading your bathroom is the perfect time to invest in new technology as well. There are a number of smart bathroom features that homeowners are choosing:

  • Smart mirrors
  • Smart bidets and toilets
  • Digital shower controls
  • Automatic smart faucets
  • Automated soap dispensers
  • Toothpaste and mouthwash dispensers
  • Waterproof TVs for a shower or bath space
  • Smart speakers and sound systems

There are so many ways to modernize your bathroom and match the aesthetics of other spaces in your home or building.
